Assistant Professorship Position for Visual Analytics in Constance

The Department of Computer and Information Science in the Faculty of Science has a vacancy for a

Junior Professorship Position for Visual Analytics (Salary Scale W 1)

to be filled as soon as possible. The position is granted for three years and can be extended to a total of six years subject to successful performance evaluation. There is no option for tenure track.

Applicants should have a strong track record showing their preparedness to conduct high-quality research in the area of visual analytics, combining automated data analysis with information visualization methods for solving complex application problems. The successful applicant is expected to conduct graduate level teaching in English and will have the opportunity to join the DFG Graduate Program "Explorative Analysis and Visualization of Large Information Spaces".
